The resources in these packages are intended to support the delivery of the Western Australian Curriculum: Italian to students in Years 3 to 8 studying the Italian: Second Language – Scope and sequence P to 10 and the Italian: Second Language – Scope and sequence 7 to 10.
In Year 3 Italian, students are given opportunities to interact in Italian and to exchange information about themselves, their own family and the Gregori family.
In Year 4 Italian, students are given opportunities to exchange information in Italian about daily routines.
In Year 5 Italian, students use descriptive and expressive language to exchange information about their home, neighbourhood and local community.
In Year 6 Italian, students use descriptive and expressive language to exchange information about their free time.
In Year 7 Italian (P to 10 sequence), students use descriptive and expressive language to exchange information and give opinions about people, social events and school experiences.
In Year 7 Italian (7 to 10 sequence), students use descriptive and expressive language to exchange information about themselves, their family, friends and interests.
In Year 8 Italian (P to 10 sequence), students use descriptive and expressive language to share ideas and opinions about travel experiences, special holidays and celebrations.
