Gifted and Talented Secondary Selective Entrance programs

These exceptional programs are available throughout Western Australia. Options include:

  • 22 academic, arts and languages schools in the Perth metropolitan area
  • a fully selective academic school, Perth Modern School
  • an arts college, John Curtin College of the Arts
  • 2 regional schools, Albany Senior High School and Bunbury Senior High School
  • boarding at City Beach Residential College while studying in Perth
  • boarding at Albany Residential College while studying at Albany Senior High School
  • the online academic program for regional WA students living outside of Albany or Bunbury, where students continue to study at their local regional public school.

Applications are open to Year 5 students in 2026 who will be in Year 6 in 2027 and want to enter a Gifted and Talented program starting in Year 7 in 2028. Applications close 6 pm Friday 5 February 2027. We will not accept late applications.

Limited places may also be available for students who enter Years 9, 10 and 11 in 2028.
