Inform parents about their child's performance

At the completion of the assessment, you can provide parents with the 'Summary for parents' report.

This summarises the skills and understandings their child demonstrated during the assessment. It also suggests ways parents or caregivers can support the child’s learning at home.

The teacher and principal are required to sign these reports. The report can be accompanied by a letter to the parents. Use the letter templates below.

For parents with English as an additional language or dialect (EALD) or a language background other than English (LBOTE), you can use the translated parent communication documents.
